INSIDE SALES (CONSTRUCTION - PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
A large portion of our business is the sale and construction of different agricultural buildings and facilities. We sell grain bins, fabric covered engineered buildings, all-steel buildings, and pole frame buildings. If you have past sales or project management experience with any of these types of structures, we would be glad to hear from you and discuss the possibility of coming on board to our sales/project management team.
INSIDE SALES (AUGERS, IMPLEMENTS, AND SPECIALTY PRODUCTS)
As the largest auger dealer in South Dakota, we are interested in having an individual who can oversee the Auger and Implement sales portion of our business to better provide immediate assistance and support to our current and future customers. An auger sales or farm implement background is a huge plus (near necessity) for this position as this sales person will be required to interact with ag producers immediately and effectively to best serve in this position.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Our goal at Whetstone Ag Supply is to service what we sell, and hope for satisfied customers. To fulfill that goal requires knowledgeable people to install, troubleshoot, and repair product that we sell. If you have a high skill level or are interested in mechanical drive equipment or electrical circuitry, we may have a great position waiting for you here!
MILLWRIGHT / EQUIPMENT INSTALLER
Project are getting larger and the need for skilled welders, metal workers, and aerial workers has never been greater. Currently we install grain bin aeration floors and unload systems, pneumatic conveying systems, drag conveyors, grain legs, dump pits, and cross augers. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR
We have construction crews on the road as much as possible throughout the year and could always use another set of skilled hands. From concrete to building construction to grain bin erection, we have many crews doing many kinds of work. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
With over 56,000 square feet of warehouse and several product lines that need material moved daily, the management of that area and product is greatly in need of care. Whether product is getting unloaded from vendor trucks or getting reloaded onto our own trucks for delivery to job sites to loading up product for drive-in customers, there is always need for one more individual to safely operate a forklift and keep that material moving. The organization of the warehouses is also a great responsibility with so much material constantly coming and going.
